What Is Managed Staking?

Managed Staking automatically delegates your Solana (SOL) held in BitGo custodial wallets to validators, earning onchain staking rewards on your behalf. Rewards are auto-compounded to maximize yield, and the system adjusts automatically with deposits and withdrawals.

The feature is activated at the enterprise level with a single toggle. Once enabled, it applies across all custodial wallets in your enterprise.

How to Enable Managed Staking

Option A: From the Dashboard

1. Log in to the BitGo platform with administrator credentials

2. On the Dashboard, locate the Managed Staking banner

3. Click Enroll to open the enrollment dialog

4. Review the details and click Enroll Now to activate Managed Staking across your custodial wallets

Option B: From Enterprise Settings

1. Navigate to Enterprise Details in the left sidebar.

2. Scroll to the Managed Staking section.

3. Click Enroll next to Solana (SOL).

4. Review the details and confirm enrollment.

Note: Once enabled, BitGo begins delegating your SOL to validators automatically. Staking rewards accrue each Solana epoch (approximately every 2 to 3 days) and are auto-compounded.
